The challenge
Security had become critical
As more sensitive information moved through video messages, secure messaging had to become part of the platform.
Different industries, different requirements
Real estate and healthcare customers both prioritize security, but they protect different kinds of information and face different threats.
Balancing needs against development time
Multiple business asks, integration hurdles and brand standards all had to fit in the same roadmap.
02 · Research
How we learned
I worked in a triad with the product owner and lead developer, setting sprint goals and KPIs together. I ran bi-weekly user interviews and focus groups, alongside competitive analysis, surveys, card sorting, A/B tests and usability testing.

I designed security features across desktop, tablet and mobile, meeting partner integration requirements including Google’s design standards.
